Full List of 26 Governors-elect as Announced by INEC
Following the March 18 elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced 26 candidates as newly elected governors.
Abia State
Alex Otti of the Labour Party, LP, was declared the winner of the Abia state governorship election on Wednesday.
Enugu State
In Enugu State, Peter Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also won the governorship election.
Kebbi and Adamawa
This indicates that the outcomes of 26 of the 28 governorship elections have been announced. Kebbi and Adamawa elections were declared inconclusive.
States won by Parties
The All Progressives Congress, APC, won in fifteen states, the PDP in nine, and the Labour Party in one. In Kano state, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) won.
Re-Elected APC Governors
Seven Governors were re-elected by the APC. They are: Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Mai Mala Muni (Yobe), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Babagana Zulum (Borno).
APC New Governors- Elect
Additionally, the ruling party secured victories for eight new candidates: Uba Sani (Kaduna), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Mohammed Bago (Niger), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Ahmed Aliyu (Sokoto), Dikko Radda (Katsina), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), and Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi).
Re-Elected PDP Governors
Two PDP governors were re-elected: Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and Bala Mohammed (Bauchi).
PDP New Governors-Elect
On the platform of the PDP, seven first-term governors were elected to office. They are: Kefas Agbu (Taraba), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), Peter Mbah (Enugu), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Siminialayi Fubara (Rivers) and Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta).
Dauda Lawal of the PDP ousted Bello Matawalle as governor of Zamfara State,

Abba Kabir of the NNPP ousted the APC in Kano State.
