Atiku should forget votes of people – Benue youths

The Peoples Democratic Party’s () Alhaji Atiku Abubakar should disregard Benueans’ votes in 2023, according to the Benue Youth Forum (BYF).

According to the group, Atiku will not ever receive votes from Benue voters because of his mockery of those who were recently killed in the state’s Gbeji, Ukum LGA.

This online news medium reports that about two weeks ago, Alhaji stated that he was “very angry with Governor Samuel Ortom for profiling Fulanis as bandits and terrorists because he, Atiku, is also a Fulani person” while answering questions during a presidential interactive session organised by Arewa Joint Committee held at Arewa House in Kaduna.

Atiku “clandestinely rationalized the death of Benue people in their sleep, stating that the terrible deed was probably owing to what he termed as “continuous confrontations between farmers and herders,” according to Terrence Kuanum, President, Benue Youth Forum, at a news conference on Thursday.
