Abuja Train Crash: An investigation into the fatal train accident that occurred in Kubwa on Thursday morning has been opened by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.
According to information gathered by our correspondent, a train travelling toward Abuja collided with a moving car at Chikakore, which is located in the Kubwa neighbourhood of Abuja. As a result of the collision, the train was unable to continue its journey.

Over the course of forty minutes, the train coaches remained stationary while the engineers worked on the train.
In response to the incident, the spokesperson for the FCT Police, Josephine Adeh, said, “We are aware of the unfortunate incident of rail/motor fatal accident that happened at the Chikakore axis in the Kubwa area council of the FCT.”
“Upon receiving the information, police crime scene investigators attached to the Byazin Divisional Police Headquarters drifted swiftly to the scene, where they took charge of the situation, where medical practitioners on the ground confirmed that the victim had passed away.

“The railway division that is in charge of the track where the incident occurred has begun their investigation.
