After a phone fight with her fiancé, Adetutu reportedly got out of a car and dove into the lagoon.

According to a statement released on Thursday by Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of the Emergency Management Agency, the taxi driver said that she was engaged in a furious argument with her fiancé when she got out of the car and dove into the lagoon.

In order to find the victim, members of the Department of State Services, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, and LASWA are currently collaborating on the scene.

In a further confirmation on Friday, Oke-Osanyintolu stated that the search and rescue crew was still in the water looking for the victim.

Amodu Shakiri, the public education officer for the Lagos State Fire Service, claimed that the search had been unsuccessful since the Adetutu Adedokon’s body had not yet been located.

We continued search and rescue efforts , but there is currently no progress, the man stated. As soon as we finish our operations, we will issue a formal declaration.

The victim, known as Adetutu, was a Department of State Services employee, according to sources in the office, who also said that Adetutu worked as an instructor of unarmed fighting.

Adetutu, who is in her late 30s, was reportedly recognised as the best unarmed combat operative in her set a few months ago in a letter of recognition from the director general of the DSS.

On Thursday afternoon, she had exited an Uber taxi on the bridge before diving into the lagoon.
