The deadline for collecting Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) has been extended by the () to February 5, 2023.

The deadline for the collection of PVCs had previously been extended by INEC, but a National Commissioner working with Festus Okoye, the electoral umpire, said the deadline had now been advanced by one week.

The Commission has decided to further extend in all of its Local Government Offices nationwide by an additional one week in response to reports from the various States and discussions with Resident Electoral Commissioners. “The Commission is expanding PVC collection across the country for the second time, and this is the final extension of the campaign. The collection period will now run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, after being extended by an additional two hours.
