Chikezie Uwazie, a Nollywood actor, passed away in the United States of America after a second brain surgery.
A few hours earlier, two other popular Nigerian actors, Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi, died unexpectedly.

On Sunday, the actress Obey Etok Chima shared the news of his passing on her Facebook page, writing, “I can’t believe I’m posting this. Chikezie Uwazie goneeeee.
“After a second brain operation. Gini na emezi. I was astounded to learn this information this evening. Just received this from our IMSU alumni website. I thought you said you were leaving for greener pastures in the United States.
You promised to return several years ago, but I never saw you. I cannot believe you have passed away, but God knows best. Rest on Chyko.”

The death of Uwazie is the third in Nollywood in less than 72 hours, following those of St. Obi and Murphy Afolabi.
