Atiku speaks on his health status
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for president in the 2023 election, has stated he does not travel abroad for medical treatment “other than routine medical checkups.”

Atiku, 76, stated that he is willing to provide his medical records upon request from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in an interview with journalists that on Tuesday.
Other than routine medical checkups, I don’t seek treatment abroad, Atiku said.

The only medical issue I have is a tendon rupture, which If you recall, occured in 2006, when I injured my knee, I fell down a staircase and traveled to Germany for treatment. The tendon was then brought back.
