Atiku campaign releases video, dismisses ill-health rumour

On Monday, the Spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Committee, Senator Dino Melaye, dismissed reports that the former vice-president was rushed to London, United Kingdom (), for medical attention on Sunday.

Melaye was speaking on behalf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Committee.

Melaye posted a video of Atiku as a response to rumours that the septuagenarian is ill and was rushed to the United Kingdom from Dubai for emergency treatment.

“There is no shame in lying. It has been reported that Atiku was hurriedly flown to London yesterday.
