Bandits Abduct Prominent Nigerian Lawmaker’s Wife And Four Children
In Zamfara, gunmen kidnapped a lawmaker, his wife, and their four children.
Aminu Ardo Jangebe, a member of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, has had his wife and four children kidnapped.
This online newspaper learned that the incident took place at 11 p.m. on December 8, 2022, when the gunmen stormed the neighbourhood and started firing randomly to frighten residents.

In an interview with journalist, a local resident named Sani Abubakar revealed that two of the lawmaker’s neighbours, Alhaji Yahaya and Sa,adu Mainama, had also been kidnapped by the terrorists.
When they heard the gunshots, many people, according to Abubakar, took to their heels, while others closed their doors to prevent being kidnapped.
In addition to entering Aminu Ardo’s home through a broken gate, he claimed the bandits also stole a motorcycle that belonged to one of the victims of the kidnapping.

The Honourable Member’s wife and his four children were taken hostage as soon as the bandits entered the home, he claimed.
“They saw two of his neighbours, Malam Yahaya and Sa,adu Mainama, as they were leaving the house, and they were also taken hostage.
While Mohammed Shehu, the Police Command Spokesperson, promised to find out more information about the attack, Alhaji Ibrahim Dosara, the Zamfara state Commissioner for Information, confirmed the incident to Newsmen.
