Bola Tinubu is on a medical journey to Saudi Arabia.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, denied on Saturday that he recently met with the G-5 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party in London.
According to a statement by Tunde Rahman of the Tinubu Media Office, Tinubu is free to meet with anyone he chooses, but the aforementioned report is false. However, it was noted that the candidate had performed the lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia.

It stated, “As usual, when the year is coming to a close, he takes a break from his hectic schedule based on doctor advice and travels to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah (Lesser Hajj) and have a rest.
During the week, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in London en route to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
“While in the United Kingdom, Asiwaju Tinubu noticed articles in some Nigerian national newspapers alleging that he and Peoples Democratic Party-affiliated G-5 governors held a secret meeting in London. These reports are not only made in bad faith but also with malicious intent. They were published to advance the writers’ and their sponsors’ political interests.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, is neither bothered by these articles nor their well-known sponsors. He is resolutely focused on his campaign goals, which are geared toward achieving victory in the upcoming presidential election to implement the APC’s action plan to restore hope to all aspects of our people’s lives.”
The statement emphasised that Tinubu could meet whomever he wished. “It must be noted that the APC presidential candidate has the right to meet with any political actor or stakeholder who is vital to his campaign and plans for the country and who seeks to engage with him.”
Tinubu arrived in London on Christmas Day, spent a few days preparing for his trip to Saudi Arabia, and is currently performing Umrah in Mecca, according to the statement.
It has been widely speculated that Bola Tinubu is battling undisclosed ailments. The evidence of this speculation can be seen in all of Bola Tinubu’s political outings.
