On Miyangu Street in Nassarawa GRA Kano, the residence of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the departing governor of Kano state, has been destroyed by fire.
Ejes Gist News Nigeria gathered that the that the fire broke out on Monday evening as disclosed by the State Fire Service.

Saminu Abdullahi, the State Fire Service’s Public Relations Officer, provided additional information, stating that when firefighters arrived on the scene, the fire was already under control.
According to reports, the fire began in the area where Governor Ganduje kept his cows, resulting in the tragic loss of a number of animals.
In addition, numerous high-value properties valued in the millions of naira were reduced to ash.

What caused the Fire at Ganduje’s residence
While the exact cause of the fire is unknown, sources indicate that it may have been sparked by welding activities ongoing at the residence.
At the time, renovations were still underway to transform the property into a suitable residence for the departing governor of Kano State.
Abba Anwar, the governor’s chief press secretary, declined to comment when contacted for further information on the incident.
