Reports making rounds has it that there is a fire breaking out in the Conoil filling station that is situated in Area 10, Abuja.
It was approximately 3:53 p.m. on Saturday when the incident began, as reported by one of our correspondent who went to the location.

Ette Samson, who was working as a graphic designer at the UTC Area 10 market at the time, saw what happened and advised locals to stay away from that axis.
He claims that the fire started in the storage area of the gas station, and that the entire structure has been destroyed by the blaze. In point of fact, we are currently unable to move because the area has been cordoned off.

It was observed that officials from the Federal Fire Service were working to extinguish the fire.
The station and the Abuja Municipal Area Council, also known as AMAC, are separated by a fence, and the Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture is located in close proximity to the station.

As a result of the incident, there is a significant increase in the volume of traffic in Area 10 and the surrounding areas.
At the time that this report was being written, the gas station was still engulfed in flames.
