Unknown gunmen on Tuesday assassinated President Jovenel Moise of Haiti at his non-public residence.
An announcement by the Country’s interim prime minister, Claude Joseph, stated Moise was fatally wounded by the unidentified males.
According to him, the assault was carried out in a single day on the deceased’s non-public residence.
“The gunmen broke into Moise’s residence at about 1am on Wednesday.
“He was fatally wounded by the unidentified men some of whom were speaking Spanish,” the PM stated.
He additional referred to as for calm within the nation, saying “police and armed forces are in control of the situation”.
