IPOB Suspends Kingsley Kanu

Kingsley Kanu, the younger brother of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu, has been placed on administrative leave.

Collins Chinedu, the group’s national coordinator in Germany, and IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful announced the suspension of the younger Kanu in a statement.

The group accused the younger Kanu of engaging in a number of anti-IPOB activities with the intent to discredit the IPOB family in Germany and, consequently, the larger IPOB family around the world.

Anti-IPOB activities alleged against Kanu include rebellion against IPOB leadership, creation of a rival leadership in Germany, and disregarding the organization’s code of conduct.

According to the group, Kingsley Kanu has been putting himself above all IPOB rules and discipline governing the honorable IPOB in Germany and around the world.

He has allegedly been doing this by using his affiliation to the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to an unjustified super advantage.

Kingsley Kanu is a regular unit member of the IPOB in Landsberg Am Lech, Germany, the group noted.

The charges against him are that “Mr. Kingsley Kanu has been in the constant habit of flagrantly flouting every IPOB code of conduct, thereby seeing himself as above the laws and frequently throwing every decorum to the winds,” according to the statement.

“Reporting a fellow very hardworking IPOB member to the German Criminal Police in violation of his IPOB oath and the IPOB code of conduct”

“Issuing orders to his superior officers in the IPOB organizational hierarchy without the IPOB Leadership’s consent”

“Imposing and parading Mr. Ogbonna Abraham, an expelled member of IPOB, as the new National Coordinator in Germany with the sole purpose of causing discord within the German organizational structure.”

Ordering his alleged national coordinator in German to establish a new principle servants forum through which IPOB members are being pressured to join his illegal organization and to attend his illegally organized online series.

Kingsley Kanu must comprehend that the liberation of Biafraland transcends anyone’s relationship to its supreme Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, according to IPOB. It also goes beyond being a family matter.

According to German law, the IPOB is a recognized nonprofit organization.

Therefore, the group stated, “Mr. Kingsley Kanu must be reminded that further violations of the code of conduct will have serious legal repercussions.”

The group stated, “With effect from today, January 21, 2023, Mr. Kingsley Kanu is unanimously suspended from the family of IPOB in Germany led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for an indefinite period of time due to the above stated infractions and anti IPOB activities carried out by Mr. Kingsley Kanu.”

Any IPOB member anywhere in the world who chooses to work with him or accept orders from him on behalf of IPOB is doing so at their own risk, the statement warned.
