President Tinubu Approves Appointment of Mrs as NSITF Executive Director. 

 

, Nigeria—To strengthen the operational effectiveness of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, the President, Bola Tinubu, has approved the appointment of Mrs. to Executive Director, Operations, in the said fund. The appointment was announced earlier and given the nod to help better the delivery of social insurance services in Nigeria.

Mrs. Alli-Macaulay comes into the new role with many years of experience, having served in several capacities within the public and private sectors. Her massive experience in operations management, coupled with her passion for social welfare system improvement, makes her a very good fit to drive the NSITF mission of giving Nigerian workers social security.

The NSITF has a very strategic position in the nation’s labor ecosystem, as it compensates workers who fall victim to mishaps or sickness during work. Mrs. Alli-Macaulay acknowledged the usefulness of the opportunity to serve in this capacity and assured her audience of commitment toward ensuring better operations. “I am very humbled by this appointment, and I promise to work hard in ensuring that NSITF accomplishes its mandate of providing adequate social insurance coverage to Nigerian workers. In collaboration with my team, we will strive to improve our processes and service delivery,” she said.
