Buhari makes fresh appointments few days to handover
President Muhammadu Buhari has given his approval for the appointment of Dr. Garzali Muhammed Abubakar as the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Development Fund. The President has also appointed Mrs. Aduke Bamidele Hussain as the chairman of the governing board of the organization.

The announcement was made through a statement issued by Mr. Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity. The statement also mentioned the approval of six additional members of the governing board.
The newly appointed members of the board are Dr. Hussaini I. Mohammed representing the North-Central region, Mr. Mohammed Umar representing the North-West region, and Mr. Abdulsalam Yahaya Ahmed representing the North-East region.
Joining them are Mrs. Stella Uzokwe, who will represent the South-East region, Mr. Stephen Ikata for the South-South region, and Mr. Olufunlayo Oluwole Faloye for the South-West region.
These appointments are expected to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in Nigeria and drive the implementation of key agricultural policies and programs. The National Agricultural Development Fund plays a vital role in supporting agricultural initiatives and promoting sustainable growth in the sector
