Buhari: Why I may not Campaign for Tinubu
Why I’m Not Campaigning For Tinubu — Buhari
It has been stated by President Muhammadu Buhari that the reasons he has not yet campaigned for Bola Tinubu, the APC flagbearer for the 2023 Elections, are due to commitments in the office of the President.
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Buhari gave the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates in the elections that will take place the following year the assurance that he is ready at all times to campaign for the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinibu, and for all party candidates with “full energy and conviction.”

This is to allay the concerns that have been raised in certain quarters regarding the president’s absence from campaigning since the national launch in Jos, Plateau State, and to emphasise that while he will continue to be committed to party politics, he will also uphold the functions and duties of the president at all times.
This is to be done in order to dispel the concerns that have been raised.
During the course of his recent visit to the United States, President Buhari spoke to the Nigerian community in Washington, DC.

In his remarks, he reiterated what he has said on numerous occasions, namely that he is prepared to campaign for the victory of the party in the general elections that will take place the following year.
The president pointed out that the campaigns run by the APC have, up to this point, been the most combative in recent memory.
In comparison to the competition, who always seems to be trying to catch up, we can say that “They have been impressive and of a high voltage.”
