: Iran sentences footballer to 26 years imprisonment over protests

Amir Nasr-Azadani, an Iranian football player, was given a 26-year prison term by the government for his participation in the nationwide protests.

Reports making rounds claims that Nasr-Azadani was responsible for the security agents’ deaths during the demonstrations by “participating in enmity against God.”
