Nigeria Police Force have confirmed the death of a man, Gaga Allia who was stabbed by a fellow tenant, Godstime Oke Following a heated argument over an unpaid N300 electricity bill in their rented apartment at No. 32 Oleh Street, Okumagba Layout, Warri, Delta State.
According to reports, the horrific incident took place on Wednesday night around 10 p.m.

According to information gathered by this online newspaper, Oke and Allia, who are reportedly friends, were both living in the same one-room apartment.
Additionally, it was discovered that Oke was in charge of gathering the electricity bills from all of the tenants in the compound for simple payment to the authorities.
However, a tenant in the compound is said to have paid N300 that his friend Allia was owed while Oke was away.

Allia was reported to have objected when Oke came home and asked for the money that the other tenant had paid.
As a result, a fight broke out between the two, during which Oke allegedly stabbed Allia in the neck with a broken bottle.
The severity of the wound eventually caused Allia to bleed to death.
Oke is said to have taken off after realising the truth of his deed and narrowly avoided being lynched by a furious mob.

He is alleged to have run away from the scene and into the nearby neighbourhood of Ugborikoko. On Thursday, he was captured and turned over to members of the Nigeria Police Force “B” Division in Warri.
When contacted, Delta State Police Command DSP Bright Edafe, the police public relations officer (PPRO), confirmed the incident and stated that efforts were being made to capture one Tega, an alleged accomplice.
