The Divisional Police Officer, DPO of Jigawa State’s Jahun Local Government Area, SP In his office, Abubakar Musa slouched and passed away.
In a statement given to this online newspaper on Saturday, State police command spokesman DSP. Lawan Shiisu Adamu confirmed the death of the DPO.

After a protracted illness, he claimed the incident occurred on Friday night around 9:00 pm in the DPO’s Jahun Division office.
SP. Abubakar Musa, Jigawa DPO passed away last night at about 9:00 p.m., he claims, while wrapping up his official duty.

The deceased, according to him, was taken to the Jahun General Hospital and Rashid Shekoni General Hospital before being transferred to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where his demise was officially declared.
The Nigeria Police Force and the family of the deceased were consoled by the State Commissioner of Police, CP. Emmanuel Ekot Effiom.
