Abubakar Malami Denies ‘Possibility Of Postponing’ 2023 Election
Abubakar Malami (SAN), Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, has pledged that the 2023 elections will proceed as planned.
On Wednesday after the National Security Council (NSC) meeting, Malami briefed Newsmen on the latest developments.

On February 25, Nigeria will hold general elections to elect the President and Vice President as well as members of the Senate and House of Representatives.
The elections for governor and the National Assembly are scheduled for March 11.
Malami stated, “The summary and conclusion of all submissions was that the system is wholeheartedly prepared for the conduct of the election.

As a result, the position of the government and the president is that the election will be held on February 25, 2023, and Mr. President and the National Security Council are pleased with the preparations on the ground and have made wholehearted arrangements in that regard.”
“As a result of the conclusions of the security council meeting, we have been tasked with briefing you accordingly, but the summary, conclusion, and resolution of the council are that the elections will take place and there is no turning back.”
