FIFA investigating ‘undue access’ to World Cup celebrations with Salt Bae causing anger

After the controversial behaviour of Salt Bae during the celebrations for the World Cup final, FIFA has issued a statement to address the situation.

The celebrity salt sprinkler, whose real name is Nusret Gokce, came under fire for participating in Argentina’s celebration after the country won the World Cup for the first time in over three decades by defeating France.

The fact that Salt Bae was able to get his hands on the World Cup trophy sparked much debate.

It appeared as though the players for Argentina were not too pleased to have him trying to steal the spotlight.

When the fan asked for a photo, Lionel Messi was seen on multiple occasions trying to ignore him or brush him off.

Additional images showed him holding the World Cup trophy alongside some Argentina players who appeared to be rather confused.

The Turk also uploaded a video in which he successfully takes the trophy from Cristian Romero while the latter was attempting to share a moment with his son.

After that, the Turk goes on to make an unsuccessful attempt to take the trophy from Lisandro Martinez.

The fact that he touched the trophy sparked a particularly heated debate because this is an honour that can only be bestowed on a select few individuals, such as players who have previously claimed victory and heads of state.

It would appear that the chef, who became famous for his technique of sprinkling and who charges $1,450 for a steak, made the most of his opportunity to interact with VIP guests.
