Ondo APC Suspends 31 Members
The All Progressives Congress has suspended thirty-one members in the Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
In a letter sent to the state chairman of the party, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, on Saturday, the party explained that its decision was based on the findings of an investigation committee.

The offence of the affected members was not specified in the letter, but it was understood that their suspension was not unrelated to the anti-party roles they allegedly played in the most recent general elections.
The letter was signed by the party’s chairman, Chief Sehinde Mishe, and one of its leaders, Mr Victor Olabimtan.
A portion of the letter stated, “Having reviewed the list and considered the report of the fact-finding committee, the leaders of the 15 wards unanimously decided to suspend the following party members:”
Yaya Adelakun, Alh Abubakar Alonge, Mr. Femi Ayoko, Segun Olukoju, Olugbegba Omole, Sunday Ajulu, Oteruku Sunday, Felix Ajakaye, Adejoro Paul, Mr. Ayelure, and Opeyemi Igbede are the affected members, per the letter.

Other names include Alege Monday, Okajare Idowu, Tenabe Busuyi, Adedeji Dupe, Oyinbasokun Oluwole, Olasukanmi Sunday, Mrs. Kayode Mary, Idowu Olanusi, Elder Rogbitan L.I., and Bodunde Johnson.
They also include, Akinsule Stella, Alimi Taiwo, Bankole Adefarati, Barr Babaleye Tolu, Ayegbusi Jide, Abimbola Gbenga, Yakubu Usman, Adejoro Adeogun, Alh Musa Olisa and Alabi Alaba.
Adetimehim responded by stating that the state secretariat would investigate the situation and address the issue.
“It is a family matter, and we will investigate and resolve the issue,” Adetimehin promised.
