Speaking during an interview, Uwagiaren opined that not only were Wike’s recent statements and actions unbecoming of a state governor, but the PDP chieftain’s wife, who is a High Court judge, was also beginning to complain about her husband’s behavior.
“The G5 Governors are saying that nobody can sack them from the PDP. Of cause, yes, they were part of the founders of the party. But, I think that on a daily basis, Wike is beginning to justify the belief of some politicians that he was not fit to be a president of Nigeria, that he had no business contesting in the primaries. As I speak to you, on a daily basis, I get offended when I see a governor reducing himself to a level that I don’t expect. He is diminishing the office of the governor. Every day, people now watch him on tv either dancing or singing. That is diminishing the office of the governor and I don’t expect that from him.

I was told that there was a time even his wife complained. The wife is a judge of the State High Court. She complained that his actions and activities do not portray the height of a governor. There was a newspaper report to that effect.
