Buchi noted that he would prefer to talk about the conversation he had with Sammie before his death rather than paying tribute to him since he would neither see nor acknowledge the post.

Why have not you made a post for Sammie since he passed?’ Buchi asked in a message titled “WHAT I TOLD SAMMIE OKPOSO BEFORE HE PASSED?

I have recently responded to this question with, “Sammie will not see the post.”

The frustrating aspect of these posthumous posts is that. They do not work the same as birthday wishes.

Let me share with you instead what said to Sammie during one of our conversations; and I am so glad and grateful to God that was able to speak these words to him before he passed away.

We were not expecting the guy to post a thank-you message in a few days appreciating everyone who took the time to “felicitate with me on the occasion of my passing.”

God’s dependable warhorse! a tough, weather-beaten warhorse. I spoke those first as we embraced.

He then smiled broadly, his bright white teeth standing out sharply against his dark (almost black) face. God believes in you, Sammie. God has great faith in you.

The 59-year-old continued by saying that Sammie never shied away from sharing the gospel or mentioning even in his business dealings.

Never have I heard of you changing your songs on any of those platforms. Na so so, Jesus, you are shouting.

Buchi continued, addressing the Sammie cheating scandal: “You are a really misunderstood person. I am aware that you are rough.

The previous mess you made never smelled finished. However, if you dem catch, it does not mean that you passed. Avoid collapsing where you fall. Stand up and leave.

In many ways, people have let God down. Their shortcomings may include lying, greed, poor anger management, and financial, sexual, or emotional infidelity.

Buchi concluded by saying that while he has interacted with many gospel singers and non-musicians, very few of them were as humble as Sammie. Ozioma, Sammie’s wife, also received encouraging messages from him.

I have talked to a lot of gospel and non-gospel musicians, and I can tell you that not enough of them are as humble, God- and man-loving as you are. Sammie, I give God praise for your lovely heart. Zioma, keep fighting,” Buchi concluded.
