Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the governor of , refuted rumors that he abandoned ’s campaign train for the APC’s presidential candidate.


Bello declared on Sunday that his unwavering support for Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, in the remained unabated in a post on his verified Facebook page.

The rumor also surfaced just a day or so after a significant figure in the Tinubu-Shettima campaign abandoned the APC.


Tinubu’s presidential campaign team director Naja’atu Muhammad resigned from her position on Saturday.



Naja’atu served as the Director of Civil Society for the APC’s presidential campaign.

The resignation of Naja’atu, who is 67 years old, occurred one month before the presidential election.
