Cross River Governor, Ben Ayade has declared a two-day work-free days in the state

 

According to the state commissioner for information and Orientation, Eric Anderson, said the governor approved Thursday, 26th and Friday, 27th January, 2023 as Work -Free Days in the State to enable Civil and Public Servants across Cross River State collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in readiness for their full participation in the 2023 General Elections scheduled for Saturday, 25th February, 2023 for Presidential and National Assembly Elections as well as Saturday, 11th March, 2023 for Governroship and State Houses of Assembly Elections.Ben Ayade

Government wishes to make it abundantly clear, especially for the benefit of members of the General Public to note that these WORK-FREE days are not Public Holidays and should NOT be seen as one.

 

Civil and Public Servants in the State are hereby advised to take advantage of these WORK-FREE days to get their PVCs in readiness to make their votes count in these elections.
