The gunmen who are alleged to have attacked last Friday ambushed the abductees, whose names were given by the state police command as Hamzat Ibrahim, Deere Ibrahim, and an unnamed 38-year-old man.

They were allegedly abducted in their farmland in the local government’s Ologun district.

When speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, one of the state’s hunters said, “Those who were kidnapped are Fulani people; they were in the farm when the kidnappers arrived.”

The hunter claimed that the victim’s family had been contacted by the kidnappers, who demanded a N5 million ransom.

They weren’t the kidnappers’ intended target, but they kidnapped them when their primary target wasn’t reached. Although their target is based in the UK, he has a farm there.

She said, “The gunmen kidnapped a 38-year-old man, Deere Ibrahim, and Hamzat Ibrahim. To find the victims, our officers are scouring the forest with the help of hunters and other local security agencies.
