Gunmen Have Killed Desmond Uche, YPP Ward Chairman In Imo
A member of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) who served as chairman of the Ibeme ward in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Ifeanyi Desmond Uche has passed away.
In the morning of Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Ifeanyi Desmond Uche was murdered in front of his family home in Ibeme.

A witness claims that two vehicles, a Lexus 300 and a Sienna, were used by the gunmen, who are believed to be members of a vigilante organization.
Ejesgist.ng gathered that the gunmen were allegedly hired by a man who came to settle a score with the Ifeanyi over a debt of N100,000 in order to get their money back.
On Friday, January 6, the State Chairman of the YPP, Victor Diala, provided the publication with confirmation of the incident.
