Henry Cavill, a British actor, has declared that he will not be playing DC Studios’ Superman anymore.

The decision was made after a meeting with the studio’s new heads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, the 39-year-old announced the “sad” on his Instagram page on Wednesday.

The new information was revealed two months after Henry, as directed by the studio, announced his return to the franchise.
