Osun Policewoman Alleged Her DCO Tortured Her
The Divisional Crime Officer of the Ode-Omu Police Division, Matthew Ajayi, who was accused of abusing a female inspector named Bamidele Olorunsogo, has been questioned by the Osun State Commissioner of Police.
This online newspaper states that Olorunsogo was seen revealing the wounds she received to her hands and chest in a viral video on Twitter.

She alleged that Ajayi tormented her as retaliation for her refusal of his approaches.

He suggested we become friends after he asked me out. I explained that since I am married, I am unable to become his friend. He began extorting money from me,” she claimed.
The DCO also picked up a gun and threatened to shoot her, the Police officer claimed, adding that several police officers had seen the incident.
They attempted to have me removed from the office, but I resisted and told them to murder me if they wanted to.

The Ikire Area Commander was instructed to take charge of the case and report back to the CP, according to Yemisi Opalola, the Osun Police Public Relations Officer. She added that the investigation would be finished in two days.
“As soon as we heard about it, the CP instructed the Divisional Police Officer to bring them, and he personally interviewed them, instructing the Ikire Area Commander to take over the further investigation,” the woman claimed. The probe will be over by today (Thursday), not yesterday (Wednesday).
In a statement on Wednesday, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer, gave the public the assurance that justice will be served in the case.
Before taking any necessary action, he declared, “We will wait for the Osun State Police Command’s inquiry report.
To defend the NPF’s core values and ethics, we promise the public that justice will be served in this instance.
