Bola has lamented that he inherited a huge liability from former President Buhari and has not spent any Kobo.

President Bola Tinubu recently addressed a gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) governors in Abuja, where he discussed the assets and liabilities he inherited from his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari. Speaking on the matter, President Tinubu emphasised that his government has not made any unauthorised budgetary deductions or misappropriated funds.

During the meeting, President Tinubu acknowledged the significance of the occasion, noting that it marked his first entry into the Council Chamber. He underscored the need for collective decision-making and urged the progressive thinkers within the party to play an active role in educating the public and ensuring effective governance.

According to Tinubu, “I inherited both assets and liabilities from my predecessor. No budget or funds have been unlawfully removed during this transition. However, we must press forward and make decisions that have a positive impact on all of us. As members of our party, we have a vital responsibility to enlighten the people and contribute to the successful management of our nation.”
