The Jaguars attempted a trick play, but Trevor Lawrence’s reverse pitch to Jamal Agnew was too high, and Tennessee’s Rashad Weaver recovered the fumble. Seven plays later, Dobbs threw a touchdown pass of 21 yards to Chigoziem Okonkwo to make the score 10-0.
Agnew returned the ensuing kick-off 54 yards to ignite Jacksonville Jaguars, and Lawrence reduced the deficit with a 25-yard scoring strike to Christian Kirk, before a further kick from the boot of Bullock put Tennessee up by six as time expired on the first half.

In his second career start, Dobbs completed 20-of-29 passes for 179 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Late in the third quarter, Tyson Campbell recovered a Dobbs interception and returned it 29 yards to the Tennessee 25-yard line. Early in the fourth quarter, the Jaguars’ deficit was cut to 16-13 on a field goal by Riley Patterson. The Jaguars failed to capitalise on their advantageous field position.
Allen scored a scoop-and-score to put Jacksonville ahead, and then the defence stopped Tennessee on downs on the subsequent possession, allowing the offence to run out the final 90 seconds for the victory.
In only his second season in the NFL, Lawrence has led the Jaguars to the playoffs, completing a remarkable turnaround for a team that was a combined 4-29 the previous two seasons.
