JAMB Mock exam Date 2023 has been Postponed.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has postponed the date of its 2023 UTME mock examination.

The mock UTME has been moved from Thursday, March 16, 2023 to Thursday, March 30, 2023.
Fabian Benjamin, the spokesman for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), explained that the date change was partially due to the date change for the gubernatorial and state assembly elections scheduled for March 18, 2023.
Candidates who registered early and indicated their willingness to take the mock UTME will be notified when to print their mock-UTME notification slip, which will include their centres and other information.

The statement reads as follows: “The Mock-UTME is an optional examination introduced by the Board to give candidates hands-on experience with the system and to allow the Board to assess its readiness and that of its partners for the main UTME, which is scheduled to take place between April 29 and May 12, 2023.
“The Board would also like to take this opportunity to announce that this year’s UTME will feature a number of ground-breaking innovations designed to address observed infractions and centre failures.
“For instance, under the new system, if there is a delay of up to one hour before the start of a particular session, that session is cancelled and the candidates are rescheduled.”
“Likewise, no examination may be administered one hour after the scheduled start time. The meeting will be scheduled for any OPEN or AVAILABLE time slot.
The Board has mandated that candidates must be informed of their new scheduled session or centre, as applicable, prior to leaving their current centre. In addition, no candidate would be permitted to spend less than one hour on the UTME prior to the submission of their responses.
Similarly, the new system would prohibit candidates from logging in one hour after the exam’s activation.
“Candidates should not be alarmed if, for any reason, an examination session is cancelled or cannot be held; they will be scheduled for the next available session, which could be that same day. Such candidates are expected to leave the room quietly and proceed to the Holding Area, where they will wait for further instructions.

“In addition, they are not permitted to leave the examination centre until they have been informed of the date and time of their rescheduled examination.
“Candidates should be aware that any rescheduled examination is strictly intended to accommodate only those whose examination session could not take place for whatever reason, not those who were marked LATE or ABSENT for their session.
