Jonathan claimed that the ruling party’s same-faith ticket would result in gaps in the representation of Nigeria’s religious diversity.

He added that only states across the nation are permitted to use the same-faith ticket.

This was said by Jonathan in an interview that was included in the book “My Time As Chaplain In Aso Rock,” which was released to the general public on Tuesday.

Yes, the state can be ruled by Muslim-Muslims or Christian-Christians. But whenever we come to the national holidays that we observe, I always wonder “Who will represent this other bloc?”
