Gunmen have killed 1, Abducted 45 persons in a recent Attack in Kaduna Community
In the community of Angwan Aku, located in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, reports indicate that gunmen have murdered one person and kidnapped 45 others.
It was reported that the assault took place early on a Sunday morning, as residents of the community were getting ready to attend Christmas services at local churches.

The Kaduna village was reportedly attacked by the gunmen who rode motorcycles into the area.
“They came around 10am on the fateful day, when people were getting ready to go to church,” a resident of the community said about when the intruders entered the neighborhood.
“There were a large number of them, and before they entered the village they shot erratically while some parked their motorcycles on a path through some bushes.

“They proceeded to go from house to house in order to kidnap people. They were able to kill one person and take 53 people with them, but seven of those people managed to escape and return. They have a total of 45 people with them.”
It is said that the community is quite a distance from Mararaban Kajuru, which is an area that contains an army base.
At the time that this report was being compiled, the spokesperson for the Kaduna police command, Mohammed Jalige, stated that he had no knowledge of the incident.

On the other hand, he stated that he would supply additional details once he had confirmed the attack.
