Reports making rounds claims that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate cut his speech short during his campaign in minna due to some health issue.

Bola Tinubu was not hurried off the stage during his rally in Minna, the capital of Niger State, on Wednesday, according to Bayo Onanuga, the APC’s director of media and publicity for the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

According to Onanuga, Tinubu cut his speech short in order to “attend to other programmes of the day”.

According to the APC PCC’s statement, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed  was greeted by a sizable group of party members upon his arrival in Minna on Wednesday for the mega rally.

The cheering crowd at the rally’s location, the Trade Fair Complex, was unheard of, according to the journalists there.

“Tinubu arrived in Minna in the evening of the same day for a series of meetings with APC leaders after holding another successful rally in Kaduna.

The crowd was so large that Tinubu had to speak only briefly to thank the crowd and name the party candidates running for office.

Contrary to rumours that he was hurried off stage due to health issues, Tinubu shortened his speech to make time for other events that day.

He applauded the party faithful for turning out in large numbers to watch the presidential campaign get underway.

According to this newspaper, Tinubu opened his campaign office in the city following the rally.
