Defence Headquarters fire Incident
On Monday, there was a fire incident at the Abuja Defense Headquarters.
This online newspaper gathered that the DHQ’s second floor is where the blaze, whose origin is unknown, is said to have broken out.

It was learned that both military personnel and Federal Fire Service personnel were putting out the fire.
Major General Jimmy Akpor, the director of defence information, confirmed the incident.
He continued by saying that all staff members had been evacuated and that the fire had been put out.

“A minor fire incident occurred this afternoon, December 12, 2022, on the second floor of the Defence Headquarters in Garki Abuja,” he stated. At this time, it is unknown what caused the fire to start.
“However, with the combined effort of the military and Federal Fire Service personnel and resources, the incident has been brought under control. Without incident or loss of life, all personnel and civilian staff were also evacuated.
As a result, life has returned to normal. The fire incident’s cause was the subject of an investigation that started right away.
