Senator Binani’s position as Adamawa’s campaign manager has been terminated by Tinubu.
This online newspaper reports that Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, also known as Binani, was removed as the presidential council’s campaign coordinator for Adamawa State by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s nominee for president.
This move comes just twelve hours after it was announced that the female lawmaker had been turned down for the position of coordinator of the state’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) by the APC executive committee.

Additionally, it was claimed that Binani chose the Council members by herself.
Despite some reports stating that Binani resigned on Thursday, this newspaper gathered that former Lagos State governor Tinubu later replaced Binani with Martin Babale, a former deputy governor of Adamawa state.

“By way of this letter, I am pleased to formally convey your appointment as Adamawa state Coordinator of Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Presidential Campaign Council,” reads a letter recently sent to that effect and signed by Simon Lalong, the governor of Plateau State who also serves as the campaign’s director general (DG).
Given your outstanding political accomplishments and the excellent leadership you have shown while serving as a key pillar of the party, this appointment is acceptable and fitting.
Lalong added that Babale’s position as a pillar of the party made him deserving of the job.
Lalong stated, “We are convinced that your depth of experience will have a significant impact on our mission to lead an effective message-driven campaign.
