According to Kwankwaso, the President was stunned and surprised by the revelations.

One of the primary concerns raised by Kwankwaso was Ganduje’s alleged allocation of land at the Kano Race Course to friends and family members, resulting in a lack of space for sporting events and other exercises.

He added that even the Eid praying ground, where Muslims gather to pray during Sallah, was not spared by Ganduje, who permitted the construction of shops around the holy site.

Kwankwaso opined that the Tinubu administration might consider including opposition members in its cabinet, indicating the possibility of his inclusion on the upcoming ministerial roster of the new administration.

Kwankwaso responded directly to Ganduje’s threat to slap him by asserting confidently that the statement was made in error. He stated that his former political allies would not dare look him in the eye, highlighting their subservience in his presence.
