Igbo elders decry five-day sit-at-home.

Residents of the South-East should reject the five-day sit-in declared by Simon Ekpa, a Finland-based protégé of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, according to the Igbo Elders Consultative Forum led by Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former Governor of Anambra State.

The pan-Igbo sociopolitical organisation also described the order as draconian and exemplifying insensitivity to people’s plight.

On Thursday night, Ezeife told journalists in Abuja that it should never be observed or allowed to stand.

According to him, the IECF met, discussed, and critically analysed some national issues and questions that had far-reaching implications for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability, and corporate existence in general, and Igbo land in particular, including Elpa’s sit-at-home order in the South East.

“The Igbo Elders Consultative Forum has always believed that some faceless individuals in government and other unpatriotic elements who do not wish Ndigbo well and have been working hard with collaborators to truncate the scheduled 2023 general election in the South-East are behind the alleged sit-at-home order in the zone,” he said.

The scheduled February 2023 presidential election in Nigeria will be historic because we are confident that patriotic and progressive Nigerians will elect Peter Obi of the Labour Party as the country’s next President in a free, fair, and credible election.” As a result, elements must never be allowed to use the purported sit-at-home order to shorten the general election next year.

The Igbo elders also urged the Independent Electoral Commission to take the necessary steps to ensure a level playing field for all political parties and candidates in 2023, as well as to hold a free, fair, and credible election.

latest Biafra News: We’ll continue to seek self-determination despite brutality —IPoB.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPoB, declared yesterday that they would continue to demand the right to self-determination despite the brutality being used against their members and that using force won’t be able to stop something that has reached its proper time.

The pro-Biafra group also declared its dedication to releasing the South East from terrorists who want to annex the area using force and intimidation.

In a statement, IPoB praised Abia women for the nonviolent demonstration they organised to demand the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the group’s leader, and urged other women in Igbo land to follow their lead and demand Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s unconditional release.

In a statement, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB) said: “We, the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB, under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu, commend the Biafran women in Abia State over their doggedness and resoluteness towards the restoration of Biafra Nation, shown through their recent peaceful protests held in Aba, Abi

“We extend our gratitude to both the people who came up with the idea and everyone who helped make the protest organised and peaceful.

“The Nigerian government must be aware that they will stop at nothing to subjugate us. No matter how brutally they treat us, we must keep pressing for our rights to self-determination. A thing whose time has come cannot be stopped by any number of shots.

“IPoB is out to liberate both men and women, and we are prepared to do whatever it takes to rid the country of Biafra of terrorists,” the group declares.

Blessings and protection from the Almighty Chukwu Okike Abiama for your sacrifices. We exhort other women in other Biafra land states to take our lead and demand Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s unrestricted release. Since he hasn’t broken any laws, the Nigerian government must unconditionally release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Biafra Nations League wants AG to withdraw appeal against release of Nnamdi Kanu.

The Attorney General of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, has been urged by the Biafra Nations League (BnL) to drop his appeal against the Federal High Court ruling that ordered the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the instigator of the movement for Biafra’s independence.

Ebuta Takon, BnL’s deputy leader.

They issued a warning to the federal government against continuing to detain Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Biafra latest news : Blame Nigerian Army for killings in Enugu, Rivers – IPOB

THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, yesterday accused the Nigerian Army’s 82 Division Enugu and 6 Division Port Harcourt of being behind the terrorist herdsmen killings in Enugu State.

IPoB further claimed that the two Army Division commanders were assigned to the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army in Enugu and Port Harcourt for two evil purposes. They were sent to sow terror among the Fulani and Boko Haram in the South East and South-South and to lay the groundwork for the upcoming election rigging by the Fulani cabal.

The 82 Division Enugu and 6 Division Port Harcourt and their Commanders are to blame for the murderous Fulani/Boko Haram attacks in Enugu and Rivers States, respectively, according to a statement by IPoB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful. She also claimed that the mass killings in the two states won’t stop until they are removed.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB) released the following statement: “We, the global movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to inform the general public, particularly Biafrans, as well as the international community that the 82 Division Enugu and 6 Division Port Harcourt and their Commanders are the people behind the deployment of Fulani terrorist herdsmen who have escalated the recent killings and kidnapping

The two Commanders were given orders to make sure that Fulani herdsmen took control of Rivers State and the South East. In order to spread Fulani and Boko Haram terror in Biafraland and to lay the groundwork for the Fulani cabal to use them and the Nigerian Army to rig the upcoming election, they were assigned to the 82 Division Enugu and the 6 Division Port Harcourt Rivers States of the Nigerian Army.

Biafra News Latest : Release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally — Bianca Ojukwu urges FG

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has been imprisoned and the Federal Government has been urged to release him unconditionally.

Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, wife of the late Biafran leader, made the call at the 11th Memorial Lecture of Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu this past weekend in Owerri. She argued that “there cannot be any valid reason for defying orders made by courts of competent jurisdiction in the land, as it would amount to self-help.”

Mrs. Ojukwu stated, “I implore the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. I demand his immediate and unconditional release from prison. This is a democracy. No nation that brazenly holds its citizens in captivity ever advances, develops, or instils patriotism in its citizens.

“No one can subdue the Igbo spirit. This is a truth that many individuals have refused to acknowledge. Ndigbo have always preferred to die with our heads held high rather than on our knees begging.

“Never before in Igbo history have we witnessed such brutality and wickedness as we do now.” Nigeria has become, in a sense, a crematorium. Our youth see nothing but an endless wasteland in their future. There is no Federal Government presence in the South East.”

Mrs. Ojukwu, after a thorough examination of the nation’s economy, stated that “it has irretrievably collapsed” and that life and property are neither guaranteed nor protected.

Her words: “The economic collapse is irreversible. The system failure has practically affected everything and everyone. The government can no longer guarantee the protection of life and property. The system failure has also affected all aspects of life, including commerce, agriculture, education, and trade.

“There are individuals who, from the comfort of their homes, routinely steal oil from our communities and profit handsomely.”

“2029th is close at hand. Our leaders must be held accountable for their deeds, misdeeds, actions, and inactions. It is time for payback.”

Mrs. Ojukwu praised Chief Ralph Uwazuruike for funding the annual event on his own and stated, “No government is assisting Chief Uwazuruike in this endeavor.

“As we commemorate the life of my late husband, we must also remember that no family in Igboland was unaffected by the 1 -month-long war. We will continue to remember all those who perished in this genocidal war.
