Many Injured As Petrol Tanker Bursts Into Flames In Oyo
After a petrol-filled tanker caught fire in Ogbomoso, ten people were injured, and their conditions ranged from minor to severe.
When it happened, the tanker was operating in the Poat area and was attempting to navigate a roundabout that was connected to the Ogbomoso-Ilorin expressway.

It was discovered that the tanker that was transporting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) had lost control, causing it to fall and spill its cargo.
According to information gathered from various sources, some of the locals in the area started to scoop up the content of the tanker, which led to the explosion of the tanker.
It has been discovered that all ten of the injured people have been transported to various hospitals in order to receive medical attention.

On Tuesday, the Oyo State Fire Service provided confirmation of the incident.
Reverend Canon Yemi Akinyinka, the General Manager of the State Fire Service, stated on Tuesday that the men of the command were successful in putting an end to the fire that had been raging for some time.
In a phone conversation with one of our reporters, Akinyinka confirmed that the event had in fact taken place. It is a blessing in disguise that you called. Nobody died.
“However, there were some people who were hurt.”
This online newspaper reports that this incident occurred a few weeks after a tanker in Ibadan lost control and erupted in flames.
