After suffering a heart attack on Saturday, M’Bami passed away at the age of 40.
PSG made this information public in a statement as they extended their sympathies to M’Bami’s family after his passing.

“There is a period of mourning in Paris Saint-Germain. A heart attack claimed the life of Modeste M’Bami, who was 40 years old when he passed away.
In a statement, the football club Paris Saint-Germain expressed its “heartfelt condolences” to the deceased player’s family and loved ones.

M’Bami was a player for multiple clubs in France, including PSG and Marseille, among others.
The Cameroonian team won the Coupe de France in both 2004 and 2006 while he was playing for PSG.

Before calling it quits in 2016, M’Bami had a brief stint at Le Havre and had previously played professionally in Saudi Arabia, China, and Spain.
Meanwhile, scores of passengers in iguben Train Station, Edo State have been kidnapped by Unknown Gunmen.
This comes months after the release of the final victims of the Abuja-Kaduna Train victim.
The Edo Train Attack occured on the 7th of January, 2023 as the passengers waited to board the train to warri.
