Peter Obi Campaign: How Nasarawa people reacted moment they saw Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, kicked off the resumption of his nationwide campaign for the election that will take place in February 2023 with a rally in Lafia, the capital of the state of Nasarawa.

Obi, Datti Baba-Ahmed, Julius Abure, and other members of the Labour Party’s campaign council stormed the venue of the rally on Saturday around 11 a.m.

They were accompanied by the former Anambra Governor, who was running for president, and Julius Abure, who is the National Chairman of the Labour Party.

Nasarawa people with joy welcomed the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Former Governor Peter Obi.

In a video seen by our correspondent, persons in their numbers filled the venue of the campaign and during the moment of the flag-bearer’s arrival, persons began shouting “Obi, Obi, Obi, with joy.

Recall that the Labour Party had earlier designated Saturday for the launch of its presidential campaign with Nasarawa as the starting point?

This came in after the party adjusted it presidential campaign council list removing and re- adding new names to the list.

Prominent persons removed from the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council List include former army spokesman, Major General Enenche, NLC president, TUC chairman and others.
