My Husband Too Like Court’ – Peter Obi’s Wife, Margaret Speaks On ‘Stolen Mandate’ (Video)
Margaret Obi, the wife of Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, has revealed how much of a fighter her husband is, following the results of the presidential election on February 25, 2023, in which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to be the new president.
This online newspaper earlier reported that Obi filed an ex-parte motion with the Presidential Election Tribunal, listing INEC, Tinubu, and the APC as the first, second, and third respondents, in order to retrieve the “mandate” he claims Nigerians gave him on February 25 during the presidential elections.
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared the winner of the contested election.
However, at a World Press Conference on March 2, Peter Obi vowed to retrieve the mandate freely granted to him by the people.
Margaret recounted her husband’s journey with his legal team to the Supreme Court in 2006/2007 to retrieve his stolen mandate as governor when describing his resiliency.
She added that the LP candidate had always possessed the tenacity and zeal for good governance in Nigeria, which is why he prevailed in all of his court cases.
