Nnamdi Kanu, naira redesign: ‘You will suffer’ – Fr Mbaka issues ultimatum to Buhari, Emefiele

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a Catholic priest, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari not to keep holding Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

5) President Muhammadu Buhari has spoken out against what he called the “horrific attack” on vigilantes in the Yargoje forest in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, where many people died. In a statement released by his spokesman Malam Garba Shehu on Sunday, the President paid tribute to all of the vigilantes and family members who had died.

6) On Saturday, a two-story building where three workers were working fell down in Aluu community, Ikwerre LGA, Rivers State. Mr. Ngene James, Head of the Disaster Management Rescue Team of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Rivers, said in a statement that the corps’ rescue team went to the site as soon as it got a call for help.

7) Abdulrahman Woru, 38, of Gbesewona village in the Benin Republic, who lives in the Babana area of Borgu LGA, was caught with a human skull by police in Niger State. 9) A branch of a new generation bank in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti, got into trouble on Sunday when the Central Bank of Nigeria found N6 million in new naira notes that had been hidden there. The Apex bank’s Deputy Director, Oluwole Owoeye, led a team of officials on a monitoring exercise in the State when they found the hoarded newly redesigned notes.
