1) President Bola has instructed the National Economic Council to provide input on palliatives and the review of the minimum wage as part of measures to mitigate the impact of subsidy removal. During a meeting with members of the Nigeria Governors Forum, Tinubu directed the Nigerian Economic Council (NEC), led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, to mobilise various interventions to alleviate the plight of Nigerians.

 

2) The Labour Party and its presidential candidate, , presented the final results for the 36 federated states and the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday. The court accepted the documents as evidence and designated them as exhibits. The subsequent hearings on the petition have been postponed until Thursday, June 8, 2023.
