DSS Steps Up Investigation Of Emefiele

The Department of State Services (DSS) has intensified its investigations in an effort to arrest and prosecute the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, on charges of terrorism financing and fraud.

The defence headquarters has denied the allegation that the military is providing soldiers to protect the CBN governor at his home and office in an effort to thwart his arrest.

 

Police Declare Corps Member Wanted In Anambra Over Firearm Possession

Emeh Nnamdi Daniel, 26, a youth corps member stationed in Anambra State, is wanted for illegal possession of a firearm, money laundering, defamation of character, fraud, and impersonation.

DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), said in a statement that Emeh with State Code Number AN/22A/3323, assigned to the Anambra State Police Command, was involved/mentioned in an ongoing investigation. Read More
