2) Salihu Mohammed Lukman, the National Vice Chairman (North-West) of the All Progressives Congress (), has asked the party’s national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, to resign so that a Christian from the North-Central can take over. 7) The Abuja Federal High Court has ruled that only the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has the legal authority to determine how election results are compiled and transmitted. 8) On Friday, the Supreme Court upheld Senator Rufa’i Hanga’s nomination as the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate for the February 25 National Assembly election.
