The magistrate, Mr. L. A. Owolabi, issued the order on Monday, following the defendant’s arraignment on a charge bordering on rape, which was brought against him by the police.

The police command in Cross River has confirmed the recovery of the body of a Professor of Political Science with the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Felix Akpan.
